  • 2 can (1-lb.) lima beans, liquid removed
  • 6 Tbsp. Butter, cut into very tiny pcs or possibly melted
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat sour cream, room temp.
  • 1/2 c. Dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp (1/2 TBSP) unsulphured molasses
  • 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
  • 1 dsh Salt

Directions

  1. This is easy, meatless, and especially appeals to kids. It goes especially well with ham. It is sweet, but good.
  2. Preheat oven to 300. Pour all ingredients into ungreased 1 1/2 qt casserole. (Can cover and refrigeratefor up to 24 hrs at this point.) Bake, uncovered, 2 1/2 hrs, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.
  3. Yield: 4 servings
