Directions

  1. Put lowfat milk in the top of a double boiler and when warm add in the beaten egg yolks to that has been added a little of the warm lowfat milk. Mix together the maple sugar and flour and add in gradually to the warm lowfat milk.
  2. Remove from heat and add in salt and butter. Cold. Pour into a baked pie crust and chill. Serve with whipped cream. Old cookbook "Out of Old Nova Scotia Kitchens"
