Argentinian Beef Stew Recipe

Saw the recipe John made but did not have all of the ingriedients at the moment so I improvisied to my tatste buds delight!!

  • 2lbs of Stew Meat
  • 2 Cups of Baby Carrots
  • 1 Can of Hunts Diced Tomatos
  • 1 cup of broth
  • Half White Onion sliced in strips
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Sage to taste
  • 5TBS of A1 sauce
  • 2 medium potatos chopped into chunks
  • 1/2 Head Medium cabbage chopped
  • 4 strips of bacon

Directions

  1. In a large skil. let, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, reserving drippings,dry on paper towels. Crumble bacon and reserve until serving time. Brown beef, one half at a time, in the pan. Drain off fat.
  2. In a Slow Cooker put stew meat, carrots, onions, diced tomatoes,& broth. Add spices to taste.
  3. Add potatos and any more spices you may want to add, be sure to stir it all up and mix the flavor. Add A1 sauce.
  4. Slow cook on High for 4/5 Hrs
  5. With about 20 minutes left add cabbage make sure it turns tender before serving.
  6. When ready add crumbled bacon pices on top and enjoy!!
