  • 3 Tbsp. loose tea leaves such as
  •     Earl Grey, jasmine, English-breakfast
  •     or possibly any good-quality loose tea

Directions

  1. Wrap tea in a 9- by 9-inch piece of cheesecloth, four layers thick. Tie with a long piece of kitchen twine to make sachet. Place sachet in gallon jar with end of twine hanging out of jar. Fill jar with cool water. Cover, and place in sun till brewed to desired strength, about 4 hrs.
  2. Remove and throw away sachet. Refrigeratetea in refrigerator before serving.
  3. This recipe yields 1 gallon.
  4. Yield: 1 gallon
