  1. In a bowl stir together the Worcestershire sauce, the brown sugar, the allspice, the cayenne, and black pepper to taste, add in the bacon, and toss the mix in 2 batches over moderately low heat, stirring frequently, till the bacon is crisp, transfer the bacon bits with a slotted spoon to paper towels to drain, and sprinkle them with salt to taste. Serve the bacon bits as a topping for tomato or possibly spinach salad.
  2. Makes about 1 c..
  3. NOTES : A tasty salad topper.
