Directions

  1. Remove the tips from the snow peas and remove the strings as well. Heat oil in frying pan and saute/fry the scallions and garlic. Add in the snow peas, sliced water chestnuts and soy sauce and cook for 1 minute. Add in the chicken stock, cover the pan and cook for 2 more min.
  2. Now mix the cornstarch with water and add in to the pan, stirring constantly till the sauce thickens, about 1 minute. Cooked meat or possibly shrimp may be added here if you like. Serve warm over rice.
