Ingredients

  • 4 pound sirloin tip roast
  • Hickory salt, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1/2 c. mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. red cooking wine
  • 1 c. beef broth

Directions

  1. Place meat in roast pan with broth, wine and sprinkle with spices.
  2. Bake covered at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
  3. Remove cover.
  4. Baste, sprinkle again with spices, add in mushrooms and onions, Bake another 30 min.
