  1. Preheat the broiler. Heat the oil in a skillet. Add in the garlic. Saute/fry the shrimp briefly in the skillet. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  2. Combine the Roquefort, the cream cheese, brandy and Worcestershire Sauce in a bowl. Stir thoroughly. Spread the cheese mix on the pumpernickel slices. Place the pumpernickel slices under the broiler to brown for about 2 min. Remove the pumpernickel and place each slice on a plate. Top each slice with one sauteed shrimp. Serve with a lemon slice.
