Ingredients
- 1/2 c. finely minced onions
- 2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 c. fine minced Roma tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. minced jalapeno peppers
- 1 lb minced peeled shrimp
- 1 lb peeled crawfish tails
- 1 quart heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 ounce minced cilantro
- 1 ounce cumin
- 3 ounce chili pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. salt
Directions
- Saute/fry onions, garlic, Roma tomatoes, jalapeno peppers for 2 min on high heat. Add in shrimp and crawfish for 3-5 min. Add in heavy whipping cream, sugar, cilantro, cumin, chili pwdr and salt. Let cook for 15 min. Can be served over rice or possibly pasta.
- Note: If crawfish aren't available where you are, you could substitute an additional lb. of shrimp. This dish sounds strange, but its very good.
