Ingredients
- 1Â 1/4 c. Sugar
- 2 c. Rolled oats
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1Â 1/4 c. Shortening
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 c. Boiling water
- 2 c. Bran flakes
Directions
- Add in soda to boiling water and let stand till cold. Mix together flour, baking pwdr, salt, bran flakes, rolled oats and sugar. Cut in shortening; add in water and soda. Roll outthin on a floured board. Bake in warm oven till golden.
