Ingredients
- 5 T butter
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 c. soft homemade bread crumbs
- 1 1/2 pound scallops (or possibly sole fillets cut into 1 1/2 x 4 inch strips)
- 2 T marsala or possibly sweet wine
- Lemon wedges & parsley
Directions
- Preheat broiler. Cream butter with garlic till well blended. Add in crumbs and mix to a paste. Divide scallops or possibly sole evenly among 6 small individual non-stick baking dishes or possibly shells. Cover evenly with crumb mix, patting gently with fingertips. Drizzle with marsala. Broil 6 inches from heat till crumbs are browned, about 10 to 15 min. Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley.
