Ingredients

  • 30 to 40 large, fresh, stemmed mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 pound bulk sausage, cooked
  • 1/2 c. toasted bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. pizza sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Dip mushrooms in butter. Stuff with a mix of sausage, bread crumbs, sauce and egg. Top with a 1 inch square of sliced mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 min. Serve at once.
