  • 1 1/2 pound round steak, cubed (have used venison or possibly moose steak)
  • 1 lg. onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. celery, diced
  • 1/2 c. instant rice
  • 1 can chicken & rice soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 ounce.) can whole mushrooms
  • 1 soup can water

Directions

  1. Brown steak, onions and celery in small amount of oil. Pour into a 2 qt casserole. Add in rice, soups, mushrooms, and water. Blend ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 30 min. Serves 6. Recipe doubles easily.
