Directions

  1. Heat oil, saute onions to light brown color and soft texture.
  2. Add rice and lentils and seasonings. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add water and stock. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until rice and lentils are tender.
  4. Add carrots, bring to tempurature. Adjust seasoning.
  5. Garnish with toasted almonds and parsley to serve.
