Directions

  1. Chop leeks and onions together. Cook with butter in large pot. Don't brown onions. This takes 5 to 6 min. Add in flour and stir 2 min. Gradually add in water. Add in salt and potatoes. Add in the greens from leeks. Partially cover and simmer for 30 to 40 min. Add in lowfat milk as desired.
