Pecan Goulash Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd meat
- 1 onion, lg., minced
- 1 c. pecans, finely minced
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 box Kraft macaroni & cheese dinner
- 1 can green chilies, minced
- 1 lg. can tomatoes
- 1 sm. can tomato sauce
- 1 lg. bell pepper, diced
Directions
- Saute/fry minced onions, garlic, bell pepper and pecans in 2 Tbsp. veg. oil. Add in hamburger and cook till done. Cook macaroni separate till tender, blanch and add in 1 Tbsp. butter. When hamburger is done add in tomatoes, chilies, tomato sauce and precooked macaroni; mix well. Add in 1/2 c. water and simmer 5 min. Pour in baking dish and add in the package of cheese on top and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Serves 4-6.
