  1. Cook bacon in butter till light brown. Add in onions and carrots and saute/fry for a few min. Stir in flour and cook for 2 min, stirring continuously. Add in broth, lowfat milk and Chardonnay. Simmer for 10 min. Add in cheese and season to taste.
