Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
- 4 x Pork chops -- 3/4-inch
- Â Â Thick
- 1 med -sized onion --
- Â Â Minced
- 1 x Garlic clove -- chopped
- 1 can Italian tomatoes -- (14 1/2 Ounces)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops for 2-3 min per side. Remove the chops from the skillet and cover to keep hot. Add in the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and saute/fry for 3-5 min, till tender and lightly browned. Stir in the tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Return the pork chops to the skillet; reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30 min or possibly till the chops are cooked through.
