Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  • 2 x Large eggs -- beaten
  • 1/2 c. Butter -- melted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3 c. Apples -- (4) coarsely
  •     Grated
  •     1 9"
  •     Pie shell -- unbaked

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add in the Large eggs, butter, and vanilla, then mix in the apples. Pour the mix into the pie shell and bake for 10 min.
  2. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 60-65 min more or possibly till the top is golden brown. Cold completely and serve.
  3. Yield: 6-8 servings
