Ingredients

  • 1 pkt (9 ounce) frzn French green beans with toasted almonds
  • 1 pkt ( 3 ounce) lemon or possibly lime flavor gelatin
  • 1 c. Boiling water
  • 2 tsp Vinegar
  • 2 c. Ice cubes
  • 1/2 c. Diced celery

Directions

  1. Cook vegetables as directed on package, omitting butter and increasing water to 3 tbs. Don't drain. Chill. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add in vinegar and ice cubes; stir constantly till thickened, about 3 min.
  2. Remove any unmelted ice. Mix in chilled vegetables and celery. Pour into 3 c. mold or possibly individual molds. Refrigeratetill hard. Unmold. Serve on crisp greens with mayonnaise.
  3. Makes about 3 c. or possibly 6 servings.
