Ingredients
- 1/3 c. molasses
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 c. popped corn
- 1/4 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. butter
Directions
- Combine molasses, sugar, water, vinegar, and salt; cook slowly without stirring to 270 degrees (or possibly when small quantity dropped into cool water separates into heavy threads). Remove from heat; add in butter, stirring only sufficient to mix. Pour over popped corn, stirring constantly. Shape lightly and quickly into balls.
