Ingredients
- 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. corn oil
- 1 c. lentils
- 3 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. long-grain brown rice
Directions
- Saute/fry onion in oil till well browned. Add in lentils, water, salt, and rice to onions. Cover and simmer without stirring till lentils and rice care tender, about 40 min. Serves 4.
