Ingredients
- 10 ounce. can Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 lg. onion, minced (about 3/4 c.)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 (15 ounce.) can refried beans
- 1 (4 ounce.) can minced green chilies, liquid removed
- 1 (8 ounce.) jar taco sauce
- 2 c. shredded Monterey Jack or possibly cheddar cheese (8 ounce.)
- 1 tbsp. sliced ripe olives
Directions
- Heat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pizza crust according to package directions in 12" pizza pan or possibly 9"x13" pan. Bake 5 min. Cook and stir grnd beef, onion and garlic over medium heat till beef is brown; drain. Spread beans to edge of baked crust. Layer beef mix, chilies, taco sauce, cheese and olives on beans. Cover edge of crust with 2 to 3 inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
- Bake 10 min at 450 degrees; remove foil. Bake till crust is golden and cheese is bubbly in center, about 10 min longer.
