Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
  • 1 (14 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can kidney beans
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 or possibly 2 tbsp. chili pwdr

Directions

  1. Place fat, Crisco or possibly whatever, in skillet; brown beef. Add in onions and cook till tender. Drain off most of the fat. Add in tomatoes, beans and seasonings. Mix well. Simmer slowly 45 min.
