1 pound grnd chuck
1 can tomatoes, sliced or possibly whole
1 can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 bay leaf

Directions

Brown grnd chuck, onion, green pepper and garlic or possibly pwdr in large pot. Reduce to medium heat. Add in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, and water. Stir well. Next, add in the remaining spices and simmer covered for 1 or possibly 2 hrs.
