Ingredients

  • 2 slc Light whole wheat bread
  • 2 ounce Turkey luncheon meat, (fat free)
  • 1 slc Fat free swiss cheese Zuchini or possibly summer squash sliced, (cooked) or possibly any veggie of choice, portabello mushroom would be good Sliced tomato

Directions

  1. This is such a simple sandwich to make and so good. At least I think so.
  2. We grill vegetables a lot and so I had some left over, but one could just saute/fry some vegetables. I do not think it would be as good, but would still work.
  3. Spread on the bread some fat free mayo and mustard of your choice. (I used dijon and a german type combo)
  4. Put all the ingredients on the bread and then put the other slice of bread.
  5. Spray a skillet with pam and place sandwich. Cook on Moderate heat, so which the tomato and other veggies will be hot and cheese melted. When toasted on both sides. Serve and eat. Yum!!!
  6. The only fat in this is the bread, that has 1-2 grams, depending on the brand which you buy.
