Ingredients

Cost per serving $0.15 view details
  • 1/2 c. fresh squeezed orange juice (pulp is ok)
  • 1/4 c. cranberry juice
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 c. Sprite or possibly 7-UP
  • 1 bot Sauternes or possibly Piesporter type wines

Directions

  1. Mix together first four ingredients till sugar is dissolved, refrigeratewell.
  2. Fill wine or possibly colins glass with ice. Fill 1/2 way with wine. Add in Sprite to fill the glass 3/4 full. Add in fruit juice mix to taste. Garnish with fresh fruit slices on the rim or possibly floating on top.
  3. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
  4. NOTES : Chef's Tip - For a less sweet wine cooler, substitute soda for sprite and leave out the sugar. For a more fruity taste and feel, smush up a few slices of fruit in the bottom of the glass before adding the ice. For an original wine cooler, experiment with fruit flavors you like together; mango, papaya, raspberry, cherry, blackberry, pear, peach, etc. I don't recommend banana or possibly coconut.
