Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. finely minced shallot
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2/3 c. 35% cream
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. minced fresh dill
- 250 gm package cream cheese
- 1 x salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a saute/fry pan, heat extra virgin olive oil over medium heat.. Add in shallots and garlic and sweat for 2 min, or possibly till soft but not brown.
- Add in balsamic vinegar and cream. Simmer gently, stirring continuously till reduced by half.
- Remove pan from heat, add in cream cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Stir till ingredients are well combined and texture is creamy.
