Hershey's White Chips Almond Fudge Recipe

  • 10 ounce Premier White Chips (Hershey's)
  • 2/3 c. Sweetened condensed lowfat milk (not evaporated lowfat milk)
  • 1 1/2 c. Minced slivered almonds (coarsely minced) toasted*
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Line 8-inch square pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan. In medium saucepan over very low heat, heat white chips and sweetened condensed lowfat milk, stirring constantly, till mix is smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in almonds and vanilla. Spread into prepared pan. Cover; chill 2 hrs or possibly till hard. Use foil to lift fudge out of pan; peel off foil. Cut fudge into squares. About 3 dozen pcs or possibly 1-1/2 pounds fudge.
  2. * To toast almonds: Spread almonds on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, stirring occasionally, 8 to 10 min or possibly till lightly browned; cold.
  3. NOTE: For best results, don't double this recipe.
