Directions

  1. Cover ham bone with 2 qts water in large kettle. Simmer, covered for 1 hour and 30 min. Add in peas, carrots and onion. Simmer for 1 hour longer. Add in potatoes and celery. Remove bone. Cut off meat. Return meat to kettle, simmer for 15-20 min longer.
