Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. ham hocks
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 sweet potatoes, quartered

Directions

  1. Cover ham hocks with water. Add in salt and pepper. Cover and simmer till meat begins to separate from bone. Add in sweet potatoes and simmer 30 to 40 min till potatoes are tender. Serves 4.
