Ingredients

  • 1 can (825-gram) peach halves in natural juice, liquid removed
  • 1/3 c. Castor (granulated) sugar said "1/3" - I assume c.]
  • 2 Tbsp. Grnd almonds

Directions

  1. Plate. Press cut side of peaches gently down to coat with this mix Place under grill, preheated to high, and cook till sugar is caramelised Serve with ice cream, marscapone or possibly toasted fingers of brioche [but do not ask*me* what the last two bloody things are :-) ] Allegedly serves 4 to 6, but I guess it depends how hungry you are.
