  1. Soak black eyed peas overnight, drain. Add in water listed, add in garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3 hrs till done. Add in cooked green beans. You can steam them in a steamer or possibly put them in 2 qts water and cook slowly for about 1 hour. Combine all ingredients.
