Ingredients

  • 12 lg. mushrooms
  • 3 1/2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp. minced walnuts
  • 1 tbsp. A-1 Sauce
  • 1 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tbsp. water

Directions

  1. Clean mushrooms. Remove stems and chop. Saute/fry stems and onions in 1/2 of butter till onions are golden brown. Mix sauteed mushrooms with salt, crumbs, cheese, walnuts, and sauce. Stuff mushroom caps with this mix and place in shallow baking dish. Pie pan works good. Add in water and broil till bubbly.
