Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. Sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp Cream of tartar
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 x Egg yolks
- 1 c. Butter
Directions
- Sift the first 4 ingredients together. Cream butter and extracts together till butter is softened. Add in sugar gradually, creaming till fluffy after each addition. Add in yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in dry ingredients in 4ths, beating till just blended. Make balls (1 inch), about 2 inches apart on ungreased sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min or possibly till golden.
