Ingredients
- 1 lb penne pasta
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, diced and brought to room temperature
- 1/2 c. shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded fontina cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs Salt and pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in pasta and cook till just tender, or possibly al dente.
- Meanwhile, place butter, cheeses and cream in a large oval or possibly rectangular baking dish.
- Drain pasta. Pour warm pasta directly over cheese and cream. Mix thoroughly.
- Add in salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with bread crumbs and bake for 10 to 15 min (or possibly till bread crumbs turn golden).
