Directions

  1. Take some of the cool lowfat milk and mix with the grnd rice to a smooth cream.
  2. Bring the rest of the lowfat milk to the boil with sugar, stirring with a wooden spoon. Remove from heat and stir in creamed grnd rice, then return pan to heat and stir constantly till mix bolis and thickens. Boil, stirring for 3 min. Sprinkle over the cardamom, rose water or possibly essence and half the pistachios, minced. Stir well. Pour into individual dessert dishes.
  3. Decorate tops with remaining pistachios or possibly almonds, slivered. Serve hot or possibly chilled.
