Earl's Sourdough Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast

Directions

  1. Mix and let stand 8-10 hrs. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In another bowl mix dry ingredients: 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon soda 3 teaspoon baking pwdr 1/2 c. sugar
  3. Mix well.
  4. To sourdough mix, add in: 2 Large eggs, beaten till very frothy
  5. Blend well. Add in dry ingredients to sourdough mix. Fold together till well mixed. Don't beat. Immediately pour into well greased 10 inch iron skillet. Cook at 400 degrees for 20 min or possibly till done.
