Cottage Cheese And Oil Pastry Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 ounce (150g) cottage cheese (well pressed out)
  • 6 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 6 Tbsp. Oil
  • 2 1/2 ounce (75g) sugar
  • 1 pkt Vanillin Sugar *
  • 1 pch Salt
  • 10 1/2 ounce (300g) flour
  • 1 pkt Backin-(16g baking pwdr)

Directions

  1. * There is no substitute I know of for this, check specialty stores.
  2. Rub the cottage cheese through a fine sieve, if you like, and mix with the lowfat milk, oil, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Mix and sieve together the flour and the Backin (baking pwdr) and add in to the mixed ingredients, a little at a time, till slightly more than half has been used. Knead in the rest of the flour.
