  • 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 can (14 1/2 ounce. ea.) fat free chicken broth
  • 3 c. cubed peeled potatoes
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1 c. thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme
  • 1 can (6 ounce) no salt added tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. cool water
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the first 11 ingredients; cover and cook onhigh for 4 hrs. Mix water and cornstarch till smooth; stir into stew. Cook, covered, 3o min more or possibly till the vegetables are tender.
  2. Yield 10 servings.
