Ingredients

  • 2 c. biscuit baking mix
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9- by 13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the baking mix and lowfat milk; mix well. Spread the mix in the baking dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the Large eggs, heavy cream, and white pepper till well blended. Stir in the cheese and pour over the batter in the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 40 to 45 min, or possibly till golden. Cold slightly.
  5. Cut into bars and serve.
  6. This recipe yields 10 bars.
