Cheese & Roast Beef Croissants

Ingredients

  • 2 T butter
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 bakery croissants
  • 4 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 1 lg. tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Saute mushrooms with pepper in hot butter till tender and golden brown, about 5 min. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice croissants in half, lengthwise. Spread bottom half with 1 tsp mustard; top with roast beef, mushrooms, tomato and cheese slices. Replace tops of croissants. Place on cookie sheet; cover loosely with foil. Bake for 15 min or possibly till cheese is just melted and sandwich is heated through.
