Cheddar Ale Soup Recipe

• 1/4 c. Butter
• 1/2 c. Chopped onion
• 1/3 c. Grated carrots
• 1/4 x Flour
• 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
• 1/2 tsp Paprika
• 1/2 lb Grated cheddar cheese, (2 c.)
• 3 can (10 3/4 ounce.) chicken broth
• 1 1/4 c. Half and half
• 1 can (12 ounce.) ale or possibly beer
