Ingredients
- 4 x thick slices Italian country bread (best if day-old)
- 1 x clove garlic
- 1/2 lb baby spinach young asparagus or possibly broccoli rabe NapaStyle Late-Harvest Unfiltered Extra Virgin Extra virgin olive oil Gray salt
Directions
- Place bread on a grill pan, or possibly toast or possibly broil till the slices are well browned on both sides. Peel and cut in half the clove of garlic and rub over both sides of each bread slice. Blanch spinach, asparagus, or possibly broccoli rabe, and place on top of the bread. Generously drizzle each slice with extra virgin olive oil and a dash of gray salt.
