Directions

  1. Place tuna steaks in a single layer in a shallow dish. Combine lime juice, extra virgin olive oil, honey, soy sauce, ginger and cinnamon and mix well. Pour mix over fish and cover. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hrs, turning the tuna steaks once.
  2. Remove fish and reserve marinade for basting. Place fish in a broiler pan or possibly dish and broil about 4 inches from the heat source for 3 min. Baste fish and broil 2 min longer.
  3. Turn steaks and baste. Cook for 3 more min, baste and place slivered almonds on top of the tuna steaks. Cook for 2 to 3 min more or possibly till tuna begins to flake. Don't overcook.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
