  1. Combine all ingredients except baking soda and walnuts in a large skillet. Stir with wooden spoon till well blended. Cook over medium high heat till syrup comes to a full rolling boil. Add in walnuts to syrup mix. Cook 10-11 min or possibly till syrup begins to turn golden brown. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour onto two well-greased cookie sheets proportionately. Spread brittle to desired thickness and allow to cold. Remove from sheet and break into pcs by striking with the (back of a knife. Store in zip-lock bags.
