Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, unsifted
  • 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. nuts, minced (optional)

Directions

  1. Blend butter, sugar, and vanilla in large bowl. Add in Large eggs; using a wooden spoon, beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking pwdr, and salt; gradually blend into egg mix. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min or possibly till brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan. Cold. Frost with Creamy Brownie Frosting. Cut into squares. Makes about 16 brownies.
