Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. beef stew, cut in 1/2" pcs
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tbsp. dry chopped onion or possibly 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1/2 soup can dry red wine
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced and sauteed in butter
- Warm cooked rice or possibly noodles
Directions
- Sprinkle beef with garlic salt in a 3-qt casserole. Fold in onion, mushroom soup and wine. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/2 hrs. Add in mushrooms, cover and bake another 30 min or possibly till meat is tender. (Can add in more wine if it gets too thick.) Serve over warm noodles or possibly rice.
