  • 3 lbs. or possibly more lean stew meat
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can golden brown mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can onion soup (don't substitute dry onion soup mix)
  • Fresh or possibly can of liquid removed mushrooms (optional)

Directions

  1. Trim fat from beef and cut into bite sized pcs. Grease crock pot or possibly spray with non-stick coating. Pour soups into crock pot and blend. Add in beef and blend thoroughly (add in mushrooms). Cook on low for 7-8 hrs or possibly on high for 5-6 hrs or possibly longer. If you like, this recipe can be baked in a roaster pan at 250 degrees for approximately 5 hrs or possibly longer in the oven. Serve over egg noodles or possibly rice. Serves 6-8 people.
