Ingredients

  • 1 lb dry small white beans rinsed, and soaked overnight Water to cover
  • 1/3 c. molasses
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 lrg onion minced
  • 1/4 lb salt pork rinsed and cut into
  • 1 x " cubes, or possibly diced bacon
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt or possibly to taste

Directions

  1. In crock pot, combine all ingredients except salt. Cover and cook on LOW 12 to 14 hrs, stirring occasionally, if possible. Add in salt to taste when beans are tender.
  2. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
